Welcome to SkillProof. By using TrySkillProof.com you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Using SkillProof

SkillProof lets employers create AI-generated, scenario-based hiring assessments, invite candidates by email, and receive scored reports. You must use the platform lawfully and only for legitimate recruitment purposes.

2. Free Trial & Paid Plans

  • Free 7-day trial: 1 assessment, up to 5 candidates.
  • Pro plan: $29 per month for unlimited assessments and candidates.

All payments are processed through Stripe. Cancel anytime in your dashboard; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

3. Employer Responsibilities

  • Review all AI-generated content before sending assessments.
  • Do not ask discriminatory or illegal questions.
  • Keep candidate data confidential and comply with privacy laws.
  • Invite only candidates who have agreed to be assessed.

4. Candidate Data

You control the data you collect. We host it for you but you remain the data controller. Don't export or share candidate data except as allowed by law and with proper consent.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use SkillProof to discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Share assessment answers or reports publicly.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to access another user's data.
  • Use the service to send spam or malicious content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations without notice.

6. AI Content Disclaimer

Questions and scenarios are generated by AI. They may contain errors or unintended bias. Always review and edit before use; you are responsible for the final content.

7. Availability & Support

We aim for high uptime but provide the service “as is” without any uptime guarantee. Support is available via email at hello@tryskillproof.com.

8. Limitation of Liability

SkillProof's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or hiring decisions.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify SkillProof against any claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll email you or post a notice on the site at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing Law

If you are based in the United States, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. If you are based outside the United States, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
